| Wireless-enable your serial devices using SENA's wireless device servers. SENA offers wireless device servers in the areas of Built-in Wireless LAN (802.11 b/g), Built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology and PC Card supported device servers for wireless device networking.
PS 210 - W is a two port wireless device server, introduced by SENA recently. Functionally it is similar to that of LS-100 W, but PS 210-W has two Nos of RS-232 ports, instead of one. ( PS 110 - W has one RS-232 port) The PS 210 - W is a wireless device server that connects RS-232 serial devices to 802.11b / g wireless network. It is an ideal solution for production type of wireless CNC Hardware. This device incorporate advanced features such as WPA2 compliant wireless security, flexible operation mode, TCP/ UDP multicasting, telnet COM port control protocol support (RFC2217 compliant), SSL encryption, & port event handling for wireless device networking. One wireless access point is to be used for multiple wireless connectivity of CNCs.
For networking of multiple CNCs, which are placed nearby to each other, PS 210-W is an ideal solution. It reduces the total project cost. PS 210 W or PS 110 - W works well with DNC Software, WIN-COM
Since it is a wireless DNC Solution there is no need to put Opto-Isolators near CNC's RS-232 port.
