Wireless DNC at Tata Motors, Pimpri

Tata Motors-DNC
Tata Motors, Pimpri Pune - ERC Dept. had DIGITECH wired DNC, installed about 4 years back. It consists of 8 port Intelligent Serial HUB. The CNCs were interfaced with the help of DIGI-ISOLATORS & LINE DRIVERS.

Recently this was upgraded to wireless DNC network.

8 Channel DNC Software & I. S. HIB was kept as it was earlier. But we removed all data cables from computer to each CNC. Now following CNCs are connected by wireless BT-100 units. PUMA 300 L with Fanuc 21 i TB, DAEWOO Lynx 210 L with FANUC 0i, ACE LT-25 with GE-FANUC 0 TC, HARDINGE VMC with FANUC 0i MC.

Mr. Manish Singh, the end user at ERC is very happy about this wireless DNC. Mr. Jadhav of maintenance of ERC, is happy, as he has very less worries now. Practically there is no need to look into the system.
