In 1960, the parent company Escorts set up the strategic Agri Machinery Group (AMG) to venture into tractors.  Further,Escorts Tractors Ltd., was established with equity participation of Ford Motor Co., Basildon, UK for the manufacture of Ford agricultural tractors in India. In the year 1996 Escorts Tractors Ltd. formally merged with the parent company, Escorts Ltd. Escorts AMG has two international subsidiaries.( 1) Farmtrac North America LLC in the U.S.A & (2) Farmtrac Tractors Europe Sp.z o.o.in Poland. They now cater to 41 countries.

ESCORTS was using DIGITECH make CNC code Loader, DIGI-HHT / Lk since past about 10 years. This year, they have purchased DIGITECH's new portable, Battery operated unit DIGI-HHT-22, with 2 MB user memory. It is being used in their CNC shop where they manufacture the engines.
