  Supreme Industries at B-43, at Gokulshirgaon MIDC, Kolhapur- 416123 is a leading Pattern Maker. They have two industrial shades near by & have good CNC Set-up. The group is run by Mr. Pramod Waradkar & his brother. Mr. Jaipal Waradkar ( on right side, near CNC Control), son of senior Waradkar looks after DIGITECH DNC system. They installed DIGITECH's WIN-COM in the year 2000 on their FANUC control
In year 2005, they added one more channel of WIN-COM DNC with same drip feed features. If power fails, the WIN-COM Software allow them to re-start from few previous lines. This is to avoid the tool mark on the pattern. Both CNCs have been interfaced with one DNC-PC with two independent DIGI-ISOLATORS. In March 2008, DIGITECH upgraded the WIN-COM Software by version 6 with higher range of buffer memory. This setting has further made the smooth running of CNC in sharp corners or in smaller curves. |

 YASH ENGINEERS, Kolhapur has HAAS VMC. It is being used mainly for production jobs. Mr. R. M. Patil, the Director decided to accept pattern job also on this VMC. They wanted a reliable DNC System. DIGITECH was called for a demo in last week of Feb. Wireless BT-100 with DNC Software was a perfect solution to them. The installation was done on 8th March 2008. The pattern shown here was cut on HAAS VMC on the same day.

  The Printers House is the industry leader in Web Offset Printing Machines. In the Year 1946. K.D.Kohli, a freedom fighter-newspaperman, started the company. TPH introduced Web offset press in mid-70's. Today they have installations in over 35 countries. They have Multimillion dollar investment in CNC based manufacturing & CAD/CAM to support the manufacturing. DIGITECH had installed the wired DNC using Opto-Isolators & Line drivers & Multi-serial cards about 10 years back. This system was still in working condition. TPH added some new CNCs during last year. The existing DNC set up was to be upgraded. DIGITECH suggested to go for Wireless BT-100 & Multi-DNC Software keeping the multi-serial card & PC as it is. Now, XP was loaded in the PC. One Multi-serial card was changed to PCI based card. For Mazak CNCs, DIGITECH has installed Multi-DNC Software, from U. S. based company. Wireless BT-100 units were interfaced on 5 CNCs. Rest of the CNCs are still working with a wired DNC mode. Hence it is a combination of wired & wireless DNC. In the next phase, probably all CNCs will be with wireless devices only. Mazak has been interfaced with BT-100 for CMT protocol transfer in two way data transfer. VTC 800, NH-CNC, SB CNC, DMG-125-U, Mazak FJV 60/80, Mazak FJV 35/80, Mazak Integrax, Micromatic Grinding machine, Juaristi T-205, Juaristi TS1, VJ-5, & OKUMA are all working well with DIGITECH DNC.  BT-100 pairs are used with dipole antenna. The DNC-PC is kept in the office on first floor & CNC machines are in the shop floor. There is a glass wall on one side, but wireless signals are passing through the glass walls very well. Mr. Deepak Kumar, Chief Co ordinator Projects, Mr. N. S.  Mr. Uttam Patil, the promoter of Amrut Engineers - Kolhapur is a young, enthusiastic dynamic personality. Amrut Engineers is a well known firm offering their CNC expertise to many Forging Industries in India. Mr. Mahadeo Patil, the in charge of VMC machines said, " We have added a new CNC machining Centre with Fanuc 11 M. We have been using DIGITECH wireless DNC at our sister concern, M/s Ratnavali. ESCORTS was using DIGITECH make CNC code Loader, DIGI-HHT / Lk since past about 10 years. This year, they have purchased DIGITECH's new portable, Battery operated unit DIGI-HHT-22, with 2 MB user memory. It is being used in their CNC shop where they manufacture the engines. Mr. V. DIGITECH Wireless DNC : Digitech had supplied & installed DNC system about 10 years back in their CNC gas cutting shop, & CNC machining shop. In year 2004, TELCON first ordered 2 sets of BT-100 wireless units on trial order. The performance was good. The next repeat order for 7 CNCs was placed on DIGITECH. Now, all the CNCs at TELCON are working with BT-100 wireless pairs. They have 8-port Multi-serial cards installed on their PCs. The CNC shops are running 3 shifts per day. Mr. Ajoy Mondal is very happy as he has removed all the data cables along with maintenance problems. |
